Emilio Hoover Excites in POWRi 305 Sprint Series Win at Lake Ozark Speedway

Eldon, MO. (9/2/24) Contending with on-track support of Night Two the POWRi Triple Sprint Showdown presented by Start2Finish TV at Lake Ozark Speedway, the POWRi 305 Sprint Series would witness Emilio Hoover claiming his first feature series victory in thrilling twenty-lap action.

Starting the night in Eldon Missouri would see John Barnard and Jake Martens each earning heat racing victories with Jake Martens attaining the high-point qualifier award.

Flying into feature green flag racing, second-starter Jake Martens would outduel pole-sitter Emilio Hoover out of the first pair of corners. After the opening few laps, Emilio Hoover would shoot to the preferred position using a speedy high line, with the field calculating for spots behind the leader.

Earning his inaugural career victory in the POWRi 305 Sprint Division, the two-time POWRi West Midget League champion Hoover would outrun one-time leader and runner-up placement Jake Martens to capture the feature win. Speedy defending divisional champ Brett Combs would be among the leading trio to clinch third. Randy Martin finished fourth with Lane Warner rounding out the top-five finishers for the POWRi 305 Sprint Series feature event at Lake Ozark Speedway.
