POWRi to Sanction Midwestern Modified and Pure Stock Divisions for Weekly Racing
Belleville, IL. (1/28/2022) Continuing to evolve to meet the growing demand of premier grassroots racing while broadening horizons, Performance Open Wheel Racing Incorporated is honored to sanction the POWRi Midwestern Modifieds and POWRi Pure Stock Divisions for the 2022 season and beyond.
“After the initial successful launch of the POWRi Super Stock Division that will see even more tracks added to the program in 2022, we have been working with tracks to develop a package to ensure programs can maintain and grow in the Midwestern Modified and Pure Stock classes as well” said Kevin Greven.
Going on to add “POWRi has over twenty-five series competing in over 500 events on the schedule for 2022 and these programs will receive the same attention and national recognition all other divisions POWRi offer. We must continue to develop cost-effective classes that give competitors and tracks racing programs that consist of growth opportunities and competitiveness.”
Added incentives for competitors will see each track offer their POWRi Pure Stock Division and POWRi Midwestern Modified Division their normal track championships and on top of that POWRi will offer a POWRi National year-end point fund for drivers top-15 finishes, participating across the entire group of weekly sanctioned facilities.
Tracks already confirmed to compete in the POWRi Pure Stock Division include Callaway Raceway, Dallas County Speedway, Lake Ozark Speedway, Lebanon Midway Speedway, Monett Speedway and Springfield Raceway with several other tracks expected to come on board.
