The feature was a great race. The first turn was 4 wide, with Tyler Miller and Jeff side by side coming off turn 2. Jeff would lead lap one with Tyler Miller, Alex and Tyler Johnson battling for 2nd. Bobby was starting to make his charge to the front. Kyle and Kenny were also making their way forward. Bobby would take over 2nd from Tyler and Kyle would start to battle with Tyler. Kyle would take over 3rd and Kenny would now start his battle with Tyler. Alex was now starting to move forward. Kenny would slow going into turn 1 with an overheated engine and pull to the infield. The yellow would come out and now bunch the field back up. With the green waving on the restart, Kyle would make a bold move to the inside from his 3rd starting spot and jump into the lead thru turn one but would spin out coming off turn two. Yellow flag. Kyle would have to go to the rear and Bobby would get another shot at Jeff.
It was a green white checker and Jeff would hold off Bobby and take his 1st win with the POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints, Bobby 2nd, Alex would get by Tyler for 3rd, Tyler Miller 4th, Tyler Johnson 5th.

The POWRi Lighting Sprints next race is at Valley Speedway, Grain Valley, MO on Friday June 21st. Make plans to come out and watch the POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints squirt some dirt!!

The racing in the MLS is fiercely competitive. With motorcycle power and lowcost maintenance, this is still the most economical way to go fast in a race car. These cars are 1 1/2 seconds a lap faster than an A Mod or a Late Model. New drivers/cars will be coming out each week. There are good used cars for sale. Contact the MLS for info.
